"Vampire Talk"

"In Vampire Talk I+II+III Trine Mee Sook Gleerup combines semi-biographical experience with notions of racial representation and otherness in relation to vampirism and trans-national adoption. Suggesting that vampires and trans-national adoptees share not only blood-related interests but also certain similarities in relation to identity building, sex, family, and colonial discourse.
At Koh-i-noor, between 6.30 – 11.50pm one part of the performance trilogy is performed once every 30 minutes: Part I+II is performed by guests, part III by Trine Mee Sook Gleerup only, as well as, at 11pm, she reads Vampire Talk I+II+III in one take – wearing fangs!
